Over the last year investment returns have slowed as we have been warning. Equity returns of +15% p.a. over the previous four years are unsustainable resulting in lower equity (Aggressive Portfolio) returns of 5.4% over the last 12 months. However, this exceeds the JSE All Share Index return of 4.7% over the last 12 months. We believe the rest of 2015 should yield further moderate investment returns and we recommend a more conservative investment approach.
